The first and original synthetic rubber contact cement manufactured in the Philippines. Rugby Original is a premium, high-strength and waterproof adhesive recommended for materials such as rubber, leather, leatherette, canvas, foam, wood, tiles , glass and metals but not recommended for styropor.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Clean bonding surfaces thoroughly. Remove any trace of water, oil, grease, dust and other impurities.
- Apply even coats of Rugby Contact Cement on both surfaces. Application thickness may vary according to the porosity of substrates. Allow surface to dry for 20–30 minutes. Avoid excessive drying.
- Join the materials together, ensuring parts are properly aligned before pressing. Press parts by applying a uniform pressure by hand or mechanical pressure such as rollers or hammer.
Excess adhesives may be removed with suitable solvent cleaner immediately before the glue dries.
Keep containers tightly closed after use. Keep away from electrical and other ignition sources.
Rugby Original is used for bonding of rubber, leather, leatherette, rubber foam, metal, canvas, and plywood to similar or dissimilar materials.
Rugby Excel has a shelf life of 12 months.
