How to use
- Clean both bonding surfaces thoroughly before application. Remove all traces of water, oil, grease, dust and other impurities.
- Apply an even coat of Bostik Rugby Excel on both surfaces to be bonded.
- For porous materials such as wood, fabric, canvas, leather, foam and concrete, apply a second coat over the first coat.
- Allow the coated surfaces to dry for 20–30 minutes. Avoid letting the adhesive dry excessively.
- Join the materials together, making sure the parts are properly aligned before pressing.
- Press the bonded parts firmly using uniform pressure by hand, or with mechanical pressure such as a roller or hammer.
- Remove excess adhesive immediately with a suitable solvent cleaner before the glue dries.
