How to use

Applications

Prestik is suitable for a wide variety of tasks in the home, office and school. It can be used to hold up posters, cards, decorations, maps and calendars, as well as to secure lightweight items such as telephones, ornaments and stationery. It is also ideal for keeping picture frames straight, positioning objects, cleaning dust from hard-to-reach areas, blocking draughts, and even as a modelling material for children.

  • Ensure that surfaces are clean, dry and free of any dust, grease and loose materials.
  • Pull off a piece of Bostik Prestik and activate it by pulling and stretching. Roll into a ball, place between the two surfaces, and press firmly to adhere.
  • To prevent oil stains to posters, we recommend that strips of tape be applied to the back of the poster and the Bostik Prestik be attached to this area as opposed to directly onto the poster.

Limitations

  • Not suitable where a strong bond is required or for holding heavy objects.
  • May damage fragile papers when removed.
  • Not recommended for use on absorbent or delicate surfaces such as silk-screen printed or hand-stencilled wallpaper.
  • May leave oily marks on certain painted surfaces or papers

How do I remove Prestik from Clothes?

Use lighter fluid or Low Aromatic Cleaning Benzine (LACB) to remove off fabric. Check for colourfastness before using any solvents.

Is Prestik safe for children?

Yes. It is 100% safe for children as it is solvent free and non toxic.
