Bostik ULTRAFINO Skimcoat is a cement-based Bostik Skimcoat designed for thin plastering and surface preparation before topcoat finishes. The white variant does not require primer, helping simplify surface preparation before painting. It is available in white 20kg and 2kg packs, and grey 20kg packs.
Surface Compatibility

How to use
Make sure the surface is structurally sound, clean and free from dust, oil, paint, grease and other contaminants. For holes deeper than 2mm, pre-patch or fill before application. Mix 20kg of ULTRAFINO Skimcoat with approximately 7 liters of water until smooth and lump-free, then let the mixture stand for 2–3 minutes. Dampen the substrate with water and apply using a flat-edge trowel. Sand with sandpaper 120 or above when needed, then wash with a wet sponge and allow to dry before topcoat finishes.
Applications
This Bostik Skimcoat is used for interior and exterior plastered concrete applications, including walls, ceilings, beams and columns. It is also suitable for pre-cast and poured concrete. Use it to correct minor surface imperfections, create a smoother finish before painting, and prepare concrete substrates for topcoat finishes. Additional coats may be applied where required, provided the total thickness stays within the recommended range.
Limitations
Apply only to properly prepared concrete surfaces. The recommended thickness is featheredge to 2mm, and build-up applications should stay within this limit. For thicker repairs, holes deeper than 2mm should be pre-patched or filled first. Allow 30–60 minutes between coats, depending on site conditions. Pot life is up to 2 hours, setting time is 30 minutes to 1 hour, and curing time is 12 to 48 hours depending on conditions."""
