For improved strength, non-sag performance and deformation resistance, Bostik POWERFIX may be added instead of water.
Surface Compatibility
FIXALL Standard Tile Adhesive Bulilit is suitable for properly prepared cement-based substrates, screeds and concrete surfaces. Surfaces must be mechanically sound, clean and free from dust, dirt, oil, grease, wax, curing compounds, release agents and loose materials before application. Allow screeds to cure for at least 7 days and concrete to cure for 14 to 28 days before tiling. Weak or friable material must be removed before applying the tile adhesive.

How to use
Mixing ratio
Mix one 25kg bag with 5.0 to 6.0 liters of clean water. For best results Mix one 25kg bag of FIXALL Standard Tile Adhesive Bulilit with 5.0 to 6.0 liters of clean water. Add water to a clean container first, then gradually mix the powder into the water using mechanical stirring until a smooth, homogeneous paste is formed. Allow the mixture to stand for 1 to 2 minutes before use.
Apply the tile adhesive cement to the prepared surface using a notched trowel. Use a 6mm notch for tiles up to 15cm x 15cm, a 10mm notch for tiles up to 25cm x 25cm and a 12mm notch for tiles up to 30cm x 30cm. For tiles 40cm x 40cm and above, back-butter the tile in addition to using a 12mm notched trowel.
Place and press the tile firmly into the adhesive before skinning occurs. Slightly move the tile away from its initial position, then place it back to achieve proper contact between the tile and adhesive. Apply only up to 1 square meter at a time and ensure at least 80% contact coverage, or higher for large format tiles. Allow the adhesive to harden before grouting.
Tile Adhesive Coverage
Tile adhesive coverage depends on application technique, substrate levelness, trowel angle, trowel wear, wastage, substrate absorption, contact coverage and surface flatness. As a guide, coverage is approximately 3kg powder per square meter using a 6mm x 6mm notched trowel and 6kg powder per square meter using a 12mm x 12mm notched trowel. A preliminary mock-up is recommended to confirm actual coverage on site.
Applications
FIXALL Standard Tile Adhesive Bulilit can be used as a ceramic tile adhesive for all types and sizes of ceramic tiles. It is suitable for wall and floor applications, wet areas, and general tile fixing work.
This cement tile adhesive can also be used for fully vitrified tiles such as porcelain and mosaic tiles on vertical applications up to 30cm x 30cm. Limitations
FIXALL Standard Tile Adhesive Bulilit is not suitable for continuous water immersion unless used with Bostik POWERFIX. For vertical applications, do not exceed 2.7m for a single tile unless the installation has been checked to support the intended weight.
Do not use in windy, very low humidity or high humidity conditions. Use only when ambient conditions are between 5°C and 35°C. If tiling over waterproofing membranes, paint, unusual substrates or non-traditional tiles, check compatibility before application. Do not add extra water after the correct mixture has been achieved, and discard any adhesive that has hardened before use.
