Surface Compatibility

How To Use
Preparation
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or other contaminants.
- Use masking tape on both sides of the joint to simplify cleanup and protect adjacent surfaces.
Application
- Cut the tip off the cartridge and screw on the nozzle.
- Cut the tip of the nozzle at an angle to achieve the desired bead size.
- Apply the sealant with a caulking gun in a continuous bead along the prepared joint.
- Remove any unwanted silicone immediately.
- Smooth down the sealant after application within 3-5 minutes before skin formation occurs. You can use a flat or rounded tool for this.
This kitchen and bathroom silicone is specifically developed for sealing joints in showers, bathrooms, kitchens, and other wet areas. Use it as a shower silicone sealant, bath sealant, or wet area sealant around sinks, benchtops, splashbacks, baths, and shower screens. It also works as a reliable kitchen sealant for sealing gaps around kitchen fixtures and surfaces exposed to moisture.
Limitations
This bathroom sealant is not suitable for areas permanently immersed in water such as pools or aquariums. It should not be used on surfaces that come into direct contact with food. Bostik Seal It Kitchen & Bathroom will not adhere to polyethylene or polypropylene surfaces and is not paintable.
