Important facts to know about Bostik Glu GO

Before applying Glu GO to any surface, it is advisable to test a small inconspicuous area to ensure that the surface is unaffected. It may affect colour in certain fabrics. It is best to test for colour fastness before fully applying.

It is important to note that Glu GO is not suitable to use as a hand cleaner and that skin contact should be avoided as it dries out the skin. Glu GO is also not suitable as a paint stripper or for porous surfaces such as unsealed natural stone, as the product may wash deeper into the pores.

It is not suitable for delicate, white and light-coloured fabrics as these may create a stain mark on the other side due to the adhesive penetrating the fabric. Always test on a small area of material first.

Be careful not to use too much glue as it may seep through the fabric and stain.

Do not apply to fabrics like curtains where the glue line is exposed to direct sunlight, as the glue will soften and become sticky and the glue line may also discolour.

Sew Simple is non-toxic; however, it contains rubber latex as an allergen which may cause skin sensitivity. It is thus advisable to wear gloves to avoid direct contact with the skin, especially if you are prone to allergies.

Fabrics that have had Sew Simple applied to are machine washable and may be ironed when the adhesive has settled and dried thoroughly.
