Should you remove a Glue Stick from a glue gun?
In most situations, it is best to leave a partially used Glue Stick inside the glue gun until it is needed again. Attempting to pull out the adhesive may interfere with the feed system and could affect the performance of the tool.
If a section of the Glue Stick remains visible outside the glue gun, it can be trimmed if required. Once the Glue Stick becomes too short to advance properly, simply feed a new Glue Stick into the gun and continue using it as normal.
