Marconi Beam Primary School (MBPS), situated in Milnerton, Cape Town, have over 1 700 learners from Grade R to Grade 7 and about 45 teachers. During hard lock down this year, in conjunction with Pick ‘n Pay and the Department of Education, the school provided food for the learners whilst practising social distancing, ensuring no one sits at home hungry while their parents had no income.
To help eliminate some of the hardship, Bostik donated Glue Sticks and Hand Sanitiser and Face Shields to the school, “This has come at the right time as our kids will start their exams soon. Thank you so much for choosing our disadvantaged school for this donation, you have no idea what this means to us.” said Mrs. Plaaitjies, Head Mistress of MBPS in a thank you letter to us.
We at Bostik would like to wish all the learners good luck with the upcoming exams and may everyone pass with flying colours!
