How can you remove a glue stick from a glue gun?
It is usually best to leave a partially used glue stick inside the glue gun. Removing a glue stick may damage the internal feeding mechanism, whether the adhesive is still soft or has already hardened.
If excess glue stick protrudes from the back of the gun, it can be carefully trimmed. When the remaining glue stick becomes too short to use, simply insert a new glue stick and continue gluing as normal.
